## Overview

The Republic of Owlia is currently in its Fifth Republic. Its government consists of a president-led executive, a separate unicameral Senate, a Judiciary, and a supreme Constitution.

The current President is Jax (@jax079538). Public executive records reviewed on 10 August 2026 name Goober as Vice President and Terra as Minister of Foreign Affairs. The political directory provides the dated public Cabinet register, coalitions, and party profiles.

## History

The official history credits Fencer with founding the original Owl Democracy. Dead2 and Soup created the Second Republic. Seb and Bloppa founded the Third Republic. Owlia later passed through the Owlistain Empire, the Fourth Republic, Meowlia, and the Federation of the Owl. Nexus created the current Fifth Republic; Catnews and Bloppa helped revive it after inactivity.
